Asteroid Bennu could be on course for impact with Earth.

That’s the headline that caught my attention, presumably designed to get us all worried.

But the story goes on to say it MIGHT hit Earth in about 300 years time, but it is more likely to miss our planet.

There is a 1 in 1,750 chance of the asteroid hitting Earth in about 300 years time.

NASA is keeping an eye on it, and their OSIRIS-REx mission has spent over two years orbiting the asteroid, gathering information and samples that are on there way back to Earth.
