Effective rates from September 2016 to March 2017:
A single person eligible for the FULL Age Pension should receive annual Age Pension income (including Pension Supplement and Energy Supplement) of around $22,805. ($438 per week)
A couple eligible for the FULL Age Pension should receive combined annual Age Pension entitlements (including Pension Supplement and Energy Supplement) of around $34,382 ($661 per week)
Base Age Pension $797.90 increasing to $877.10 per fortnight with supplements (Single)
Base Age Pension $1,203.00 increasing to $1,322.40 per fortnight with supplements Couple)

Energy Supplement from September 2016
From 20 September 2016, the Energy Supplement is not available to new Age Pensioners, but existing pensioners still get it.
Energy Supplement rate (per fortnight) : $14.10 for a single aged pensioner and $10.60 for each aged pensioner in a couple.

A single person newly eligible for the FULL Age Pension can expect an Age Pension income (including Pension Supplement and Energy Supplement) of around $431 per week.
A couple newly eligible for the FULL Age Pension can expect combined Age Pension entitlements (including Pension Supplement and Energy Supplement) of around $640 per week.

The Australian poverty line (50% of median income) was last quoted at $426.30 per week, for a single adult.
