Is it possible to use this TV for Skype & if so can you advise what type of video camera , modem, other equipment or software required?
Bought a Bauhn 60cm LCD TV but could not tune to ABC Australia. May require to download new software but could not find the website. Please help and thanks.
My problem with this TV, is that they had run out by the time I got to the shop.
I wanted one, but missed out. Hope they get them in again soon. One of those on the bedroom wall would be nice.
When buying electrical goods from primarily a Food Supermarket, we must all expect that the product knowledge will be no-where near that of a specialist Electronics shop.
Depending on whether the person you spoke to was an ALDI employee or a Bauhn employee, you would expect to have very different responses.
However, if it was a Bauhn technical employee that you spoke too, I would be very worried, as the information to connect any TV to any VCR would be very similar, and should be known by any TV specialist.
The Bauhn manuals unfortunately, do not seem to have diagrams showing which cable to plug onto which slot. Maybe manufacturers these days expect us to know where everything goes.
Regarding the “No receipt, no warranty”, that does seem to be a common thing with many retailers. Although a bit of ‘nice talking’ to the people in the shop can sometimes get them to waive this.
I am not sure where I stand on this, as, if retailers did not insist on a receipt, it may cause burglars to find easy pickings… ie: They rob your house, then take your goods to the shop for a cash refund.
I emailed your help line just after the holidays.NO REPLY.
I also rang and spoke to somebody.
That person rang back,I told her that I received the TV for Xmas and the giver had lost the receipt.
Her answer ” No receipt, no warranty”
I also asked her how to connect my VCR, answer ” I don’t know”
I then rang an electronic shop and without having any Specs for this TV ,gave me the answer.
I WAS NOT IMPRESSED BY YOUR HELP LINE.
