How to Cook Chicken Drumsticks in Halogen Oven


The recommended times for cooking Chicken Drumsticks, in a Halogen oven, is:

15-20 minutes at 225°C or 440°F for fresh.
18-20 minutes at 200°C or 390°F for fresh.
24-26 minutes at 200°C or 390°F for frozen.

These times are from various sources, and use different models of Halogen Ovens, so please use them as an estimate.

How much Meat is in a Chicken Drumstick?

This depends on each individual drumstick, but it seems that average sized drumsticks, of about 225 grams each, end up with about 90g to 100g of actual meat.

Chicken Drumsticks in the Fridge or Freezer

Raw Fresh drumsticks should keep OK in the fridge for 2 days, or for 3 or 4 days once cooked.
It is best not to keep chicken drumsticks frozen for longer than 4 months for cooked, or 6 months for fresh.
