Is NATO preparing for a Russian attack on another European country?

Will Russian attack another European country?

18 December 2023:
Kremlin propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov, said that cooperation between NATO members shows that the West is preparing for war with Russia.
Putin told state television on Sunday that Moscow had “no geopolitical interest, neither economic, nor political, nor military, to fight with NATO countries,” saying that such a prospect is “complete nonsense”.

Let’s look back 22 months, and see how much “nonsense” Putin actually says.

20 February 2022:
From November 2021 to 20 February 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin, his spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, and other Russian officials repeatedly denied that their country had plans to invade Ukraine, insisting that Russia is a “peaceful country” and that it is “not going to attack anyone.”

24 February 2022:
At 5 o’clock in the morning, Russia started bombing Kyiv, and the full scale invasion of Ukraine began in an escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War that started in 2014.

Yes, following Putin’s lies about not invading Ukraine, and his statements about not wanting to invade another, NATO is preparing for what it was formed for. The defence of Europe from a Russian invasion.

But…

17 November 2023:
Vladimir Solovyov said the use of nuclear arms is “unavoidable,” but it wouldn’t necessarily lead to the “collapse of humanity.”

Are the NATO nuclear powers prepared to retaliate with a Nuclear response if Vladimir Solovyov is correct, and Russia uses nuclear weapons?

Vladimir Solovyov has come to be the embodiment of Russian propaganda. He praises Vladimir Putin’s actions, threatens the West with a nuclear Armageddon, and calls for the dissidents to be jailed.

In 2022, Putin decorated Solovyov with the “For Merit to the Fatherland” order, and a personal television channel, to push Putin’s version of reality.
