Terrorist attack in Reading near London..
A 25 year old Libyan asylum-seeker has killed three people and seriously injured three others in a stabbing attack in the Forbury Gardens Park in Reading, Berkshire, about 40 miles west of London.
The attack has now been declared a “terrorist” incident, and British Counter terrorism detectives have taken over the investigation into the attack that occurred on Saturday night (20th June 2020).
A 25-year-old male Libyan asylum-seeker was arrested at the scene.
Police were not originally treating the incident as terror-related, and were “keeping an open mind as to the motivation for the incident”, but counter terrorism officers were called.
