UK Age Pension Increase April 2020..
The UK state pension will rise on the 6th April 2020, by 3.9 per cent, an increase of £6.40 a week.
The rate for the new state pension will become £175.20 a week, an increase from £168.80.
The annual rate for the new state pension is now £9,110.40.
This increase is based on the increase in average earnings, which was 3.9 per cent, rather than the lower 1.7 per cent rise in inflation.
The increase to the basic state pension results in a base weekly rate of £134.25 or £6,981 per year. This is an increase from £129.20 a week.
